WILLIAM F. CARTWRIGHT
1. William F CARTWRIGHT was born 1810 in Kingston upon Hull, Yorkshire, England and died January 21, 1873 in Sylvania, Lucas County, Ohio. He married Mary Ann Curtis August 9, 1827 in Holy Trinity Church, Kingston upon Hull, Yorkshire, England.
They had four children all born in England.

William F came to America with his family in 1853 and settled in Sylvania, Ohio.
He and his wife Mary Ann are both buried in plot 36, Association Cemetery, Sylvania, Ohio.
His will was written March 9, 1871 and recorded February 1873 in Lucas County, Ohio. It reads as follows:
Son John Cartwright, "E 1/2 of 16 Acres of land lying E. of land owned by James Kirkly according to deed given by the Said James Kirkly and recorded Mar 29, 1856". Dau Joanah Cooper the W 1/2 of 16 acres of the above described land. Son, William Thomas Cartwright, rest of estate. Exec George W. Probert, William Bryan.
John preceeded his father in death & it is not known how his share of the estate was divided.
