9. Matthew CARTWRIGHT was born 1730 to 1740 in St. Mary's Co., MD. He died 1790 to 1800.

He was married to Jane LEE about 1775 in Halifax Co, NC. Matthew CARTWRIGHT and Jane LEE had the following children:

child+80 i. Jesse CARTWRIGHT.
child+81 ii. Thomas CARTWRIGHT was born between 1775 and 1780 in Halifax Co, NC. He died in Jan 1814 in Blount Co, Tn.
child82 iii. James CARTWRIGHT.
